We returned to the spring creek wednesday (Jan 6th) to try out luck again. I started out the day with a larval caddis immiation pegged off the back of a copper john. Burke fished an olive wolly bugger under an indicator. I stuck one little bow with in the first 7 minutes but that would be my last fish of the day. I missed a couple fish after that but failed to produce. Burke ended up missing some 17 + inch fish on this wolly bugger rig. As we moved upstream we noticed some rising fish. Burke Took one on a parachute phesant tail. We founds some more risers but unforuteatley the fish was snapped off on the hook set. After moving up to a hole where we could see some fish we decided to fuck around and try to see how many nypmphs we could fish at once. The answer is seven. The trout gave some attention to the 7 nymph rig but the chubs and suckers LOVED it.
